Originally designed as a road bike saddle, it is equally loved by triathletes and time trialists. Like the other Performance Narrow saddles, the PN 1.0 is 110mm wide, providing excellent thigh clearance and freedom of movement. This allows the rider more extensive body movement around the saddle, and is great for safely diving into tight corners. Like all ISM saddles, the PN 1.0 eliminates a saddle nose to reduce pressure on soft tissue, provide maximum blood flow - eliminating genital numbness and making the ride much healthier and more enjoyable.

ISM stands for 'Ideal Saddle Modification' - but also for: more performance, higher comfort, longer endurance, healthier cycling and more fun in sports. From the passion to make cycling more efficient, healthier and more comfortable with the help of a new saddle design, these very modifications have been created.

The ISM saddles are characterized by their two-part nose with free space for the soft tissues and a special ergonomic shape that allows the pelvis to tilt further and thus sit more aggressively and at the same time more comfortably on the bike. The results of this special shape promote, on the one hand, performance and, on the other, riding comfort. By tilting the pelvis more, it is possible to generate more wattage on the bike while maintaining an even more aerodynamic position. One of the most important points here is that the split nose takes pressure off the soft tissues and maintains 100% blood flow. On the one hand, this takes away short-term consequences of conventional saddles, such as numbness of the soft tissues, legs falling asleep and back pain, and on the other hand, it prevents possible long-term consequences such as circulatory problems, impotence and infections.
