The warmest socks in the Woolpower family. The Classic 800 socks from Woolpower have a medium-high cut and are made from the proven Ullfrotté Original 800 - both at the foot and the shaft. The high proportion of merino wool ensures a particularly high wearing comfort. The socks are lightweight, breathable and anti-odor. These socks work most effectively as a second layer over a thin sock (e.g. a Classic 200 from Woolpower). This way you can get the maximum performance from the socks.

MATERIAL PROPERTIES

Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is generally known for its high quality. Merino sheep have much more hair than other sheep. Per square meter, they grow about ten times as many hairs as the average sheep. This makes the wool thinner and longer, very soft to the touch and not scratchy. Merino sheep live in areas with large temperature fluctuations from -20 ºC to over 35 ºC . Their fur is thermoregulatory. As a result, merino wool keeps you warm in the cold, but breathes well. In addition, merino wool has an excellent moisture-regulating and self-cleaning effect, so you do not suffer so quickly from sweat stains and odors on your clothes.
