This fascia ball not only fits in any pocket - it is also incredibly effective. Numerous nubs that sit on a curved surface provide a highly effective massage. To massage yourself, you don't just work with your own body weight. Rather, you use the tool as a massager, which is indispensable for a deep fascia massage. The high effectiveness comes from a perfect combination of pressure and rotation. The tissue is not only massaged - with this BLACKROLL® nub ball it is literally gripped to achieve a better stimulation.

Pressure & rotation: The perfect combination for a fascia massage

A massage can only be effective if the muscles and fascia are worked simultaneously. Unlike the other BLACKROLL® products, this tool lends itself to fascia training. While with BLACKROLL® balls and fascia rollers you work more with your own body weight, you can use this tool for direct stimulation. Two semicircular recesses on the back provide a firm grip and easy handling. The nubs, located on the curved side, allow you to grip the skin and connective tissue beautifully before applying some pressure to the tissue with a slight twist. Pressure and rotation: this is the secret recipe of this effective BLACKROLL® tool.

Deep fascia massage with BLACKROLL®

Due to the ergonomic shape and the surface with nubs, you can use this BLACKROLL® ball on many parts of the body. The nubs in particular increase the pressure on the tissue to be massaged, making fascia training far more effective than a conventional massage. Often it is not only the muscles, but the fasciae that cause problems. Because it is extremely easy to use, the nub ball from BLACKROLL® is particularly suitable for the transverse massage of the tissue, which is especially effective. In this way, trigger points can not only be tracked down more easily, but also worked on in a targeted manner.

Exercises for self-massage

Although BLACKROLL®'s Hedgehog Ball is most commonly used on the neck, you can also use it on other areas of the body to release fascia adhesions and trigger points.

Simply place the ball on the skin before applying light pressure to the area to be massaged. By slowly rotating the TWISTER to the left and right, the nubs stimulate the fascia tissue. While moving the TWISTER on both sides, you can vary the pressure to decrease or increase the massage. 15 seconds is enough to relieve tension. Afterwards, change sides or place the TWISTER on another trigger point.

Neck, arms, elbows, thighs, shoulders: the nub ball from BLACKROLL® is versatile. You can even use it on the sole of your foot to massage the plantar fascia with targeted pressure. Here, too, the principle of pressure and rotation comes into play. By placing the TWISTER on the floor and standing with your foot on the curved surface, you can perform the rotation unhindered.
